We are about to enter the fall of 2024 and there is so much on the agenda. WCUS takes place next week in Portland. Can we see you there?
And we’re in the early stages of planning our fifth annual Black Friday Bonanza! Be on the lookout for bulletins!
We learn firsthand what our communities have been up to as much as we have all summer.

CSS clamping is not that laborious when it is defined. Nancy Mikyska, CEO of Cymatics Internet Construction, confirmed to us how CSS works.
CSS blocking is an innovative feature that transforms how parts are sized on a web page. It provides minimum and most size adjustment, creating a consistent and visually interesting structure across numerous display units and sizes. This system brings flexibility and creativity to the Internet design industry, especially when combined with the flexibility of Divi modules.
Due to popular demand, Nancy will likely give us a few more presentations, so if you missed this one, be sure to sign up for the Divi-Chicago Meetup to be notified for the next presentation.

Our new meeting focused on the more important issue of accessibility and how we will make our websites more inclusive for people with disabilities. We applied the Divi Accessibility plugin, created via Divi Module, which guides users through the essential steps to ensure a web page’s content is accessible.
We also explored the WAVE Chrome extension, another valuable tool that helps us perceive the hierarchy of titles on a web page.
The Divi Accessibility Sidebar is available in the Divi Marketplace. This plugin simplifies the method of creating content available without depending on complicated code. It was an excellent conversation, and we’re excited to continue exploring techniques for creating more accessible websites at our next meeting on September 9th.
Giovanna is a beast! Divi Chicago, you have such cute fingers!

From host, Dennis Dinsmore:

The June release of Divi Phoenix included Dennis giving us an update on Divi’s conditional choices and dynamic content material. We had some inexperienced people and the pizza was on the tips!
August 2024
Participants: 7
This month Dennis taught us all the methods of NitroPack and Divi (now unsupported). Minds had been blown. Once upon a time we ate pizza.
Dennis will step down from the lead role of Divi Phoenix. We are looking for a brand new organizer (or team of organizers). Get results and tell us when you are.

In June, I enjoyed the WordCamp Europe event in Turin to organize an in-person meeting in nearby Milan, where many people from the area live. The end result was an impromptu meeting full of conversations and changes in concepts and criticism!
We were scheduled to meet Eleonora shortly in Turin. What an excellent piece for Divi Italia!

From host, Dustin Olsen:

In June we had a meeting to talk about the right way to create a custom navigation bar using Theme Builder. We talked about the basics and confirmed some more complex navigation designs for inspiration.
August 2024
Participants: 4
In August, Divi SLC held a digital meeting to talk about the fundamentals behind site efficiency and optimization. Sometimes, we don’t know how many other parts and elements move in a web page that much in 2 seconds or faster.
Dustin is one of our longest serving organizers and he truly delivers at Divi SLC!

Cute! We’re always looking for more people around the world who are passionate about Divi and the development community AND need to convey this enthusiasm to the local population. We maintain monthly fees for Meetup and offer all our hosts plenty of resources to help them plan and advertise their events, as well as help them find a venue and develop important concepts.
Starting a brand new Divi Meetup team is underrated. Simply follow up by filling out this form or emailing [email protected]. As soon as the form is complete, we will be able to paint in combination to introduce and connect your team to our Meetup community. As simple as that!
Now, not sure if there is already a Divi Meetup team at your house? Just go to our Meetup community web page to view a map of our current locations.
