by | Aug 6, 2024 | divi, elegant themes, Etcetera, wordpress | 0 comments

I am back with every other Divi 5 growth replacement. I am happy to file that we have completed all the options provided for the Public Alpha unlock. Before I put this preliminary model in your hands, the general step is to complete another round of testing and bug fixing. We will be able to refine the issues and unlock Public Alpha with my next update.

It will be a alphaand there will definitely be a lot of bugs at the beginning, however we need to reduce the noise as much as possible so that we can successfully test the alpha without having problems at every turn.

In the meantime, check out the demo to get a glimpse of the latest version of Divi 5, along with all the updates I’ll be covering in this post.

What we achieved

This month, we’ve been given so much to do that filling in the missing options has meant making Public Alpha widely usable. We’ve completed necessary front-end rendering elements like Dynamic Belongings and Crucial CSS. In Divi 5, we’ve advanced Dynamic Belongings by further abstracting each module’s JavaScript, significantly reducing web page measurement and the volume of usability-blocking scripts that negatively impact PageSpeed rankings.

We’ve finalized the Theme Builder, introducing the new Visible Builder interface. We’ve completed Responsive Content, allowing you to display additional content on additional breakpoints. We’ve added Visible Builder history and undo/redo capabilities. We’ve completed the Divi 5 Readiness tool, and the site-wide conversion mechanism migrates your Divi 4 shortcodes to the new Divi 5 structure. We’ve also implemented Divi’s Dynamic Content tool across its full suite of modules.

We also started our new bug fix initiative and blocked 65 of them.

What remains in the end?

At this level, Divi 5 includes virtually all of the maximum necessary options of Divi 4. The remaining options are more commonly associated with UI and UX and are some of the lesser used options in Divi. These come with To find & Exchange, Prolong Types, Fast Movements, Cut up Trying out and a couple of others.

We will be able to fill out all of these options during the Public Alpha, however you will be able to check out and use Divi 5 in the interim. I will go into more detail about this in my next update when the Public Alpha is available.
