OpenAI’s ChatGPT Seek now provides real-time Internet results, providing the latest information on ChatGPT responses. This replacement makes ChatGPT much more useful for up-to-date queries, simpler conceivable for information, provisions, and other time-sensitive topics.
In this article, we will look at tips on how to organize a search link in Arc or Chrome to easily access ChatGPT.
In chrome
Chrome is undoubtedly one of the newest browsers and it is easy to arrange a search link for ChatGPT.
First, you will be able to simply arrange the ChatGPT Seek extension from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, you will be able to use the extension to instantly search ChatGPT from your browser’s search bar.
However, this will override the Chrome handle and search bar to use the simpler ChatGPT. So no matter what you type, it could be sent to ChatGPT. If you want to keep the default search engine and use ChatGPT in the simplest way when you need it, you will be able to arrange a custom search engine in Chrome.
- Move in Settings menus in Chrome
- Go to Search engine > It organizes search engines like Google and the search for web pages on the Internet
Under the Searching web pages on the Internet section, add a brand new search engine and enter the details as follows:
- Identify: ChatGPT
- Shortcut:
@chatgpt
- URL:
https://chatgpt.com/?hints=search&q=%s
As soon as ChatGPT search is added, you will be able to type through the shortcut and press Tab. This may change the search bar in the ChatGPT input field from time to time. Now you will be able to type your ChatGPT question, which will be able to address the card with the ChatGPT answer.
In the Arc
Arc has been my favorite browser for a while now. It’s in line with Chrome with some great additional choices that could help you better organize your browsing experience in Arc.
Considered one of my favorite choices is the Command bar with the Command / Check + T shortcut. It’s similar to the command palette in VS Code, as an alternative for the browser. You will be able to use it to search around, navigate, and perform actions within the browser.
By default, the command bar is ready to use Google search. On the other hand, you can modify it to use ChatGPT in your searches. Exactly, here’s how:
- Move in Settings menu in Arco
- Go to Maximum tab section
- Activate the ChatGPT across the command bar selection
Once enabled, clear the command bar, type “ChatGPT” and press Tab. This may occasionally change the command bar to ChatGPT recommended. Now you will be able to type your query, which is able to open a brand new Arc Browser tab with the answer and the final result of ChatGPT.
In conclusion
With these simple steps you will be able to simply organize ChatGPT search in Chrome and Arc Browser. This way you can access ChatGPT for quick questions and answers without leaving your browser. Enjoy the benefit of seamless ChatGPT integration during your browsing, have fun!
