Good Budget Bag for Light Duty
If you are hiking the Appalachian Trail, I suggest you keep looking and plan to pay FAR more than the $27 which we paid for this. For that price, we are totally satisfied. We store six (6) #10 cans of freeze dried/dehydrated foods which will provide more than 100 meals, together with cookware and so much more to take from car to a camp site–located NOT very far away.DESCRIBED DIMENSIONS WERE CRUCIAL TO US, AND THEY WERE ACCURATE. Multiple pouches are provided in addition to spacious main compartment. Dizzying number of straps, buckles, clips, cinches, etc. Nylon seems strong; seams appear adequate (but don’t “push them”); “pull cords” on zippers (NOT YKK at this price point) were a nice “added touch”. Good cheap bag for emergency uses.

    Decent Back Packing Pack
I picked this up to build another BOB (bug out bag) for my family but was also looking for a more comfortable backpacking bag as well. I was actually pretty pleased with the quality. With the exception of a weird seem issue on the rain cover, and a hanging string here and there, I found this was well made. I’m not trilled with all versions of this bag containing orange. On one had it is well seen, but if you want to be invisible this bag isn’t the answer. I appreciate all the pockets including those on the waist strap. Love the compression straps. The only issue I foresee at this moment (other than orange) is that I find the mesh on the shoulder straps rubs on my neck when the pack is adjust for my comfort. That’s a problem. Other wise I’m really pleased overall with this pack. At the present price of $42.39 I think this is an affordable pack for sort back packing trips and would work decent for outings like Scouts. The follow is my breakdown of the bag if anyone is interested in build:Bottom Front Pocket-Double compression straps.-Recessed hidden zipper helps keep zipper from opening and has 2 pull tabs.-Can extend to the entire bottom of bag allowing you to control room.-around 11x7x7 inches.Middle Front Pocket-about 9×9 inches, flat pocket good for maps and documents.Open Pocket behind Middle Pocket- Open but secured with a syncing buckled strap.-Also about 9×9 inches but style allows top of items to stick above pocket.Top Pocket on Flap-9x11x2ish inches.-Hidden zipper with one pull tab.-2 side clips secure it to the main body of the bag and can be adjusted.-folds up to access main bag.Main Bag-Drawstring enclosure.-Interior open pocket that runs full width from about half way down bag along back.-Exterior compression straps help secure.-around 22 x17x7 inches.Side pockets-2 mesh pockets offer breathe-ability.-Irregular shaped-Compression straps secure items in these pockets.-11 inches long and up to 5 inches wide.Chest Strap-Adjusts up to 12 inches.-Built in whistle is fairly loud.Belly Strap-Each side of the strap has one 7.5x4x2.75 inch zippered pocket with hidden zipper.-Strap has heavy duty plastic clip.-Strap adjusts from 29-55 inches.-Strap is padded.Shoulder Straps-About .5 of an inch padding, interior mesh breathe-able fabric.-Vertical strapping loops and contains 1 rigid plastic loop for hanging items off of.-Straps have reinforced stitching-Adjustable (with out doubling over) from 20-42 inches.Padded Back-2 vertical 1 inch thick foam padded strips.-Entire back has additional 3/8ths inch padding.-Top has hang handle.Rain Cover-Quick elastic cover.Bag has plastic hooks on zippers. Two compression straps per side. 4 bungee straps. Reinforced thicker fabric bottom. Total weight of bag with rain cover comes in about 2lbs 4 ozs.

    Waterproof Hiking Backpack
This lightweight backpack is perfect for me, designed with comfort and practicality in mind. it provides ample space for all my gear, making it ideal for long hikes and camping trips. It is highly recommended!

Brought for a trip to Chicago. Worked great. Very comfortable even fully packed to the hilt. Waterproof cover is a plus.

Big pack with some goods and bads
This is a really big pack. Or at least it can hold a lot. It depends on how you pack. The main compartment is huge. There a flap that open to get the bottom without taking everything out. The top has a drawstring that you could stuff more into and make the pack expand but that puts the rain cover compartment on your head. The rain compartment doesn’t detach. But it has a lot of nooks to put small things in.The waist straps have two small pouches for a snack or something very convenient. There is an integrated water bladder tube hole too.The pack is light but feels strong. I loaded it up and walked a bit. Took a few minutes to adjust the straps but it feels good on me. This really is more for pack once and don’t touch than the constant in and out. I’ll reserve this more for my backpacking trips. Looking forward to it!

    Good entry-level backpack.
This backpack has a multitude of features/pockets and is very light weight and comfortable. However, it does not seem like it is made from the same material as more expensive backpacks and I fear it will not last the test of time/use very well. The material seems thinner and less durable.

  7. jainil

    Totally worth it.
Cool and comfy backpack. Straps are comfortable and waist straps has pockets too for easy access for few things like energy bars. Big enough for me. Lots of storage as well
