Printer Installation Instructions

Installing printer accessories troubleshooting methods

(1) Make sure the printhead is installed correctly, but do not install the ink cartridges. After closing the door, the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, which means you have installed them correctly.

(2) After installing the ink cartridges, go to Settings – Tools – Clean Printhead. My mistake was to walk away. Don’t be like me because when I came back, the first page was blank. I missed the prompt to upgrade to the second level of cleaning, but the prompt timed out. If you click Yes on the second level of cleaning, you should see improvement. It only goes up to 3 levels.

(3) After cleaning the printhead, go to Settings – Tools – Align Printhead.
